Come out from 504, after hanging out with Wen Eu, Gopi and Jessey , i see two cop cars outside the house two doors down and opposite. There were two police officers inside the house asking for ID. I was thinking, oh... hisap ganja la (smoking weed). Then i made a phone call, and suddenly i see the police officers running toward me. *hmm fake officers? i was thinking to myself* so i just stop and look at them. So they ask me are you james? >_<" wa... do i look white at night? showed them my id, and they go "oh he's asian".

hmm... okay... thanks for the surprise. Hmm wonder what james did to get the cops to go looking for him door to door(at least his door or something).

hmm..did he steal my tires?!

LOL...

I woke up like 10 am to go get banks statements from bank of america then took the marta to decatur then to south dekalb mall... No idea where i was going but hell yeah who cares wanted to get it done with, so i did the knowledge exam and ><" yeah when i was done, they told me immigration's got my birth year wrong 1989? i m like it thought i fixed that problem the last time it was 1988 why do they insist i get younger? >_<" wth...

sigh need to get that done tomorrow, no idea where the immigration office is, hmm, got work to do as well and credit card to apply for lol.. so much for a holiday, the license is taking me so much longer that i thought. Have to get a car also and yeah some *********** stole my tires need to fix that so yeah no roadtrip, not much of a holiday but yeah will make the best of it :)

hehe, made it to the semifinals, thats when we didnt make it cause the ball bounced out >_<", our arm slams the ball pretty hard, didn't put enough tape on it to prevent the bounce or the ball was a bouncy one. hmm anyways... wasn't too bad. had fun wearing M sized hulk shirts(kids size keep in mind) and ripping it in front of people.hehe... Oh yeah, i know why my battery keeps dying on me. The battery was bloated, a leak i presume. Any longer it would have blown. Woke up, early to see the doc today,he said i injured one of my ligaments. Anyways, am posting the videos for the concert, will put it up maybe tomorrow or something. Finals coming up next then, getting car license, car etc. LOL.... On the go ...
PS- watched "i m not here" a movie about Bob Dylan's different facets in his life portrait by different others, really confused about what the movie is about..

Me2110 competition later today, just got done with the CAD drawings. Next time, i won't volunteer to do it all myself like a hero, took me about 30 hours, numerous parts but yeah got it done.

Gonna see the doctor in about 5 hours for my ankle, i cant walk much without the stabilizer because it feels a bit loose and weird.

Status: very tired but happy too.

The machine is called hulk, or the incredible hulk not too sure myself, i know.. how can i be not sure. LOL, guess what we are wearing >_<", incredible hulk shirts that the rest got from wallmart most likely from the kids section. Here are the pictures, will post videos of the competition later, if my phone doesnt go quiet on me again,something about the N series and battery life that make its user very unhappy.

My ankle is getting better i think, it doesnt hurt as much but wearing the stabilizer all day is a bit uncomfortable.

My day was from 9 a.m, - 2.00 am, today, another stressful day. Tomorrow aint so tame by that standards too. Sometimes i feel like i m reaching my limit, like today i can feel its toll on my body. I have to wake u so much earlier to get to class on time, injured ankles need attention too.

I will be going Joshua Radin's concert, Vanessa Carlton is opening, i decided i m gonna need something relaxing :), you want anything from the concert? yes you =]

Guess what folks, i dislocated my ankle while playing soccer today, yes the right if you will ask.

Oh, yeah the good part is that i got to talk to some brits who were here for vacation 3 of em and a girl. They have been traveling a lot too, couch surfing etc.

Anyways,looks like i wont be walking much, didn't notice how loose my ankle was till i took out my shoes. Gonna have take a trip to the health center when its open.

On a brighter note,there some sort of progress with song writing and recording. Planning to get something down at maxi s place tomorrow. And yeah no beer wiffle ball for this week, or maybe even longer.

i guess it happened for a reason, not really that scared but its been 2 hours and the pain seems to be getting a bit more intense. Will keep ya posted. Was reading my older blogs and just notice how helpful keeping a blog is :) you get to relieve you thoughts back then. "hmm..why did i right that? oh yeah...! "

I would like to thank BT for bringing me to cvs which was closed then walmart to get this exact ankle stablizer :)

My body still aches from 3 and a 1/2 hours of running yesterday, so yeah what the heck. Woke up in the morning, 9 am (pagi pagi buta for me, on a weekend, dont get much sleep on weekdays) to go to wallmart and get junkfood lol..what a waist of time, even bought boxers that were too tight around my thighs, its the same size as a few months ago, i just got bigger because of cycling everywhere.

Oh back with the title, "something new"

basically the something new was,

1. Start drinking right after lunch, till dinner.
2. Playing beer wiffle( i think that's how its spelled, its baseball with beer in play) with pat and the gang.
3. Watching two movies in recovery stage, and having sub hangovers while i m awake. Hmm... jessey, yan hui dave i think the beer was talking, in the cinema. oops..

Oh yeah, that danish wine (42 % alcohol)... >_<" what were they thinking, texture like beer, as strong as vodka smells fruity, drank a bit of that, not too bad prolly have more of it when BC gets back.

Oh my, i have a lot of catching up with work to do tomorrow, been playing around the first half of the weekend, just like always... how you doing?

Been offline, for a bit, no laptop for almost two weeks, not too bad i guess.

Just got back from Houston, my dad was there, got to visit him... :) really glad. its been awhile since i saw my family and friends. really miss you all.

Went out to look for dinner at 12.30 am. LOL... everything's close even city cafe and lucky buddha. So i tried something rather unusual, bk's drive thru with a bicycle, mcds was right next to it but was a bit embarassed lol (BK s dead, kinda shows how mcds monopolies the fast food industry in the US).

BK's was close so i decided to go get something from the gas station, well thats what the lady told me.Maybe i scared her. Anyways, it was a pretty ghetto night. The store owner was indian (thank you come again u see in harold and kumar)with people going there to buy liquor. black dude, white ragged dressed girls.

not much in there so i got OJ( quite a number of ppl mentioned OJ today like the pms-ing lady on the train and the sick guy in the gas station) and 3 instant noodle cups(wat hungry la), erm... when i came out this white girl and guy(couple i think) pung-ed (stoned) on something came asking for change for a phone call i dont have change.. so they asked me for my phone...

well..i gave them my phone la... the girl was trying to assure me they werent gonna steal the phone... slow talk while the guy made a call.. damn it...well nothing happened... thank God.

Imagine me chasing them down with a bike, the fastest i can go is around 20 mphs, i tried racing with vivienne's 50 cc 30 mph skooter lol..

Well that was just one hour of my day.. what a way to start my monday.

Long week, two exams and homeworks, along with my me2110.

i better stop sleeping in any of my classes.

Sometimes i wonder, how and why i get myself into the things i get myself into. Don't you?

"Life" in tech has been so busy; my crazy spring semester, and now after like 10 days of holidays i'm headed for a fiery summer schedule. I just made my schedule for the semester on google calendar and it looks as if it would be better if i just marked which days i didnt have to do anything... i just "crayoned" the entire calendar.

and a few hours ago i got my overload request for one of my classes approved, so i added it (5 subjects in total). after setting up my scheduled, the only way i can describe myself if i went ahead with that amount was "insane". Everyone kept telling me, die la you die... lol..., i m kinda hard headed, i was about to take two labs at first so if that was the case 9am to 9 pm, Mondays and Wednesdays.

LOL... i got the tuition waiver for the summer semester, yay! but i have to do at least 12 credit hours. So here i m with 4 subjects and 13 credit hours. LOL... to top that i have to get my license, a car and move here and there cause i wanna visit people (I WANT!). Damn, this semester is really gonna be hectic? I guess i better pucker up. Working in fall, hmm...

wohoo... paid 80 bucks for middle seats but what the heck it was worth it. psychedelic music but need no drugs to appreciate it....awesome... really, i went there liking two song come back liking more than i thought i would, besides the traffic everything else was good even the rain. played soccer today in the heat, feels like something new to me... even though its only been about 8 months since i played in the hot weather.

Smelling like cigarettes and liquor now. Let's just say alcohol and smoking is now ridiculously associated with rock music. Weatherbox, Biffy Cyro, Manchester Orchestra and Say Anything played. All new bands to me.Scottish, Biffy Cyro sounded not too bad, a lot of energy live.

"Stuck" in the city where gambling and prostitution is legal. How ironic, not even 21 to do all that stuff, so yeah "stuck" not saying i want to LOL. Eh mugilan batamale if you are reading this, I m in Vegas.

Started of the day doing my laundry, and packing. Then i went to the tornado site with MB on foot. It was like a 10 minutes walk again. Mugi went there to "ambil yang buruk", the pictures. I guess that s what most reporters do. Anyways, for a tornado it hit pretty bad. Damaged cars, trees and poles uprooted, shattered windows on skyscrapers. Hope no one was injured. Everything was wet and rainy, till we started feeling stuff falling from the sky. Mugi shouted eh glass falling of the building... i was like **** die... painful!!! Turned out to be hailstones. From coin sized to golf ball sized ones.

All went, change and went to a Temple in Atlanta, my first time going to a temple since i got here. Kalai anna and deepa anni took me there. (for the record kalai's name is kalai mugilan, see how many mugi's i know?).

Well the weather didn't only govern that part of the day. My flight got delayed, so i missed my connecting flight in vegas, and my re-scheduled flight is at 9.28 a.m. LOL. So yeah, stuck here hungry nothing opens but in one hour unless i wanna go "eat" starbucks. Well at least they gave me first class tickets and a meal voucher (should have taken the hotel voucher too).

Oh yeah, got this cute looking family sitting with me on the plane, smart kids or maybe i just think all kids are fun. The girl kicked me when she was falling asleep, then when i woke up from sleep a few hours into flight, i found her sleeping on my hand >_<" i couldn't move, kids need sleep mah. Her parents were sleeping too.Daddy was latino mummy was whitey... baby look confusing to me... 3 kids, boy look whitey, sis s look latino to me. To top that, i had to go to the lavatory! lol..instead i just sat still waiting for the plane to land. So yeah that was about half an hour. Now here i am stuck in mccaran airport, blogging!@#$^ Better lessen blogging, nanti blog meletup. Anyways here are some pics, not gonna get much sleep tonight. Have a nice sunday. I was so high and tired yesterday, when Victor who is in kansas told me about the tornado that hit Atlanta. I told him it cant be that near lah... anyways i was too tired to do anything. Today i woke up to find out it happened in downtown, like what 1 km away? >_<" Leave it to me to sleep through a storm. It looks pretty bad on the news. CNN headquarters in Atlanta got hit also, got helicopters scouring the area for leftover news at the moment.

Watched this movie a last semester and today, its based on book by Dee Brown. Kinda reflects on mankind actually. Human ego, to think that one is better of the other and force ones values upon another , the "uncivilized"; a favor they say. It's also very common nature (not human nature) to fear the unknown. The Native Indians in the movie were continually oppressed by whites by forcing their rules and culture on to them. All the killings, the innocent children , women and men.

Force, yes is a straightforward means of conveying something, a straight line. Can't people be more creative? Whats the use of reasoning if you don't use it?

Anyways, something i can relate this to is people discriminating against your culture and traditions. At one point, i think i was baffled by the dilemma of whether "my" culture is really all that "pointless". I m sure now of one thing, after 20 years... culture & traditions are what make us who we are, lose it and lose your identity. Lose your identity and you stop being part of the society you are from. I have come to learn to be proud of your own heritage and be respectful of others. You may say, blindly flowed traditions? That's what reasoning is for...

We ate chinese buffet for ten bucks; we literally ate all we can (8 plates to a person?) i m pretty sure we lifted a few eye brows. We were so full we almost puked in the car. If anyone of us did puke, the rest would have too. Tak cukup macam tu, kita orang cuba buat lawak pulak haha...
one of the most fun outings i would say. :P

Yeap, doing my laundry 3.30 a.m. in the morning... almost done. So what's happening?

Well, yesterday i went to a monster truck show with bc,bh and mugi. They went to the shooting range today but i wanted to get some work done instead. LOL... i'm pretty sure it was fun, they got to try like ten different guns.

Oh yeah, we were among the few asians at the monster truck thing. Well, people stereotype the americans who watch Monster Truck shows to be "rednecks". On the contrary, they seemed to be polite, well even the drunk lady who spilled beer on bh and me was polite enough to apologize. Even if her bf asked her to do it.



It's not something i would do everyday, but yeah it was fun, something new and LOUD...

Today, had taco/burrito.. one of it not even mine... with Maxy ,Ronald,Naiyo and Ruben... eh, i think i still have marker marks on my nose.. :S

Still hungry now, wanna go make something for my stomach while i wait for the files to be converted. BRB...

Back still haven't eaten anything yet, was just wondering how hilarious it would be in the future, when i look back at my blog and have this part of my varsity life so well documented.So here's what it looked like,

Couples placed around the "garden" area of my apartment complex. All kinds of couple(no need to describe that i'm pretty sure you know), there a cute one near the laundry area, looks like they are having fun talking, been there for sometime already, that sweet atmosphere? :) u remember/know? Reminds me of the luxuries i had last time, people to talk to. Don't do it too much anymore, can't tell whether i should or not. Sharing gets drowned by experience after awhile; well maybe. Anyways,thats just me thinking...

Laundry... Actually is a good analog of life actually; a cycle. Clean at first, Used part by part till you run out of clean ones, Then you do your "laundry", fold it ( i skip this normally) and it's start at one again.

oh my... we played cs today, lan party, old school LOL... they played real cs on me... too. Ding shot me twice with his bb gun, BC another two. Not to mention kept, pointing his wasr-1o at me.

Anyways, my new haircut on a bright note is neater & and i don't have to worry about it when i wake up from sleep and wash it less. Long hair does have some pros too it to besides looking good,
it keeps my ears and face warm. I noticed my ears get cold very fast compared to before. LOL...

Gonna get some supper before i sleep, mashed potatoes and mushroom soup maybe?

Two tests/exams to do, one on Wednesday, the other on Thursday. Not to mention homework and other things on my to do list. Those were the days...

i think a lot about people nowadays and try to stay in contact with them,but i know sooner a later i m gonna miss out someone. It's hard to keep in touch with people you know and don't see as often anymore in this face paced walk we are in and we meet more people as we go. Anyone reading this blog, and i haven't contacted in awhile, just give me a nudge-leave a comment-a phone call-whatever-you-wanna; i haven't forget about you,well most likely ;). I just have been busy.

Well, i was doing some reading for my ethics midterm, then i decided to do my laundry which has been sitting there for ages. No more clean clothes.

Anyways, well you know how reading makes people tired, makes me tired. So i decided to take a half an hour nap. You know la how this half an hour nap business goes. haha... when the alarm rang i ended up convincing myself i didn't need to get it now."It's not going anywhere,and there are a lot of machines" .I ll just get it when i wake up. Hey don't la blame me, tired.

Damn, didn't do much reading. Gonna have to sleep late today. hmm...i m starting to like assignments/homework? Maybe i m just nuts.

Oh my... they were amazing, chills everywhere. Was worth the waiting they put us through due to some technical difficulties with the visual/lights. Then they just came on stage after they figured we came here to LISTEN to them.

I couldn't just stay still even though the camera s and the chairs initially held me back. So i just moved elsewhere. Hey, i came here for the concert didn't i? So yeap, i didn't take that many videos of em.. :) They only got better after this one ... Wish you were here.

Anyways, seats i had weren't the best to take a video haha. Only regret i had was that my camera couldn't take clearer videos.

Here's the final bit, had some videos i took before and during the concert. The carpark incident where i believe we almost pissed the cops off. I mean you cant blame us parking was like 20 bucks it took us awhile to decide whether to go or not.

Almost got caught, then we didn't pay for parking in the end...Ala Malaysian.

Hey, its 11.30 pm and i haven't gotten back to my room, did my fluid mechanics exams then went to work and hung out with some friends. Didn't get much sleep either, another common day, lol learned not to complain anymore though.

Two days ago.. its was about 60 degrees now its 32(zero C) and small snow flakes to accompany the weird fogging gloomy weather.The weather reminds me of a small kid crying somewhat...

Weird weather, weird people. Of all the days i pick today to wear less, something about me and the weather, we go separate ways but its all good just feels naked when the wind blows like i m wearing nothing.

Powerful thunderstorms are heading towards north Georgia and metro
Atlanta this morning and afternoon. A tornado watch has been issued
for the metro area and will be in effect until 2 p.m.

The storms have already killed at least 11 people in Arkansas, 13 in
Tennessee and three in Kentucky. The severe storms damaged buildings
at Union University in Jackson on Tuesday night, injuring 16 people.
Union University president David Dockery said one-third of the campus
was either damaged or destroyed.

If a tornado warning is issued for the Atlanta area, faculty, staff,
and students should seek shelter in the basement or in the interior
corridors, stairways, or rooms of the lowest floor of the building.
If time does not permit, you should move to the bathroom area or
closet and take cover. Stay away from windows. Individuals should
remain inside the protected areas and refrain from going outside to
watch. {Easy pick, bathrooms thats where i feel safe..}

Faculty, staff and students can (and should) sign up for Weather
Alerts. To subscribe, send an e-mail to sympa@lists.gatech.edu with a
subject of "subscribe gtpd-weatheralerts-public" (without quotes).
This is a separate system than the Georgia Tech Emergency
Notification System (GTENS); it is unlikely that we would have time

Something, i went for yesterday. This talk about paranormal stuff from a scientific point of view, well sorta,rationalized ideas. Some seem pretty real though. So do you believe in ghosts or hauntings? i just found out yesterday that hauntings is not only used to describe ghostly sightings. (check out the sexorcism) Some white dude who goes by the name veteran paranormal investigator Loyd Auerbach.

Ate sushi like no tomorrow
Slept through a movie on the smallest place ever... 1/3 of Ding's bed...

Ding sent us home with Wen Eu's car being all covered with ice(snow melted and froze again, 25 /-4 degrees )...Also, The car was not used for quite sometime... So we had some problems leaving homepark...Thanks everyone... :P

Gonna sleep now, need to wake up and make it to the CRC (Gym/Recreational Center) lol...
